Keep Marana Strong - Vote to Re-Elect Jon Post - Marana Town Council

During his time on the Marana Town Council, Jon has supported items that have helped to build and secure its future.  Among the many accomplishments of the town, Jon is most proud to have supported and implemented a balanced budget and strong cash reserves.  The Town’s Animal Control department, which cut costs for the town and gave the citizens a more personalized service with many animals returned straight back to the owners within hours.  Jon also supports the Marana Main Street Project, and a promise to the citizens of a community aquatic center.  Jon has also been heavily involved in acquiring water resources for the town by supporting the Town of Marana going into the wastewater business and aggressively pursuing water resources that will help the town become more drought proof with its water resources.  Jon also made the motion for the town to build two water treatment facilities ensuring safe clean water to its residents.

Jon Post’s plans for his next term in office as a Marana Town Council member are both ambitious and achievable through his continued dedication and drive to make Marana the best community for all its residents to enjoy.  As his top priority, Jon will work diligently to maintain a balanced budget as a good steward of your tax dollars.  Jon will maintain his commitment to attract new businesses and in addition to his efforts to provide first class roads and parks within the community.  As a result of his perseverance, Jon plans to ensure the water resource master plan and environmental conservation plans are finished and sustainable.

As a lifelong resident of Marana, Jon is tremendously proud of his stewardship of the Tortolita Preserve.  Jon plans to continue that stewardship in pursuit of innovative ideas in order for the Town of Marana to acquire that land from the State of Arizona.  Jon recognizes the importance parks and trails play in the lives and overall health of Marana’s residents, and is committed to not only maintaining them, but continuing to add to those already available.  Finally, Jon is an avid supporter of Marana’s fire and police departments.  Jon recognizes the critical role the first responders play in keeping Marana a safe, happy, and enjoyable town to work, play, and live in.  Jon’s support for those who have taken an oath to serve the town of Marana and its residents will always remain steadfast.
